It's new years, so of course there are posts all over the place of people stating what their new years resolutions are. I, as usually didn't really make any. Mainly, because they typically don't work. You make some resolution that is perfectly well meaning, or maybe a change of a habit you really need or want to break. But after a few days or weeks, you've likely forgotten about them and gone back to your old ways.

Someone I recently started following on Google+ posted a link to this article today. I like this idea a lot more than resolutions. Pick 3 words that will help you define your goals and experiences for the year. This seems a lot more achievable than a resolution that is quickly forgotten.

And before you ask, no I have not picked 3 words yet, haven't really thought about it yet. I just read the article and liked the idea.

New Year, New Look. Happy New Year. I've decided to update the look of my photo blog, and this is the 2nd post. I still plan to do a picture a day, or so. I may miss a day, some days I may post more than one. Other days, I may write an entry. The point is to change things up, but not really commit to do anything radically different. If you've enjoyed the pictures, thank you, and keep checking back, as this will primarily be a photo blog. The only real change is I'm no longer promising a photo a day.
